I ordered several yards of wool broadcloth to recreate an extant regency era riding outfit. The cloth is even better than pictured. The color is exactly as represented in the listing, and the hand of the cloth is outstanding. It drapes beautifully, and was very easy to cut and sew. I've only ordered online, but it was a fantastic experience! If you like making period clothing, or even just period inspired clothing or items with natural fabrics, it's a fantastic resource. They also frequently have off-cuts, remnants or flawed items at a great discount. I never thought I would seriously consider buying real silk, but at their prices it's totally doable!

I purchased 5 yards of this beautiful silk fabric from Renaissance Fabric and made this beautiful dress to wear to an 18th century wedding in May. The package arrived in a timely manner.
