Needed a last minute spot on a Sunday after lunch. SCRS came thru with a 2pm-4pm. Backline with keys all set up.
Very clean and following guidelines , well maintained facility.
Price is right. Everything totaled about $50 . plus you should tip.

This is a good place overall, the equipment is old but everything works, and the price is reasonable. Location-wise though, it feels a bit unsafe, and my band has run into parking issues in the past.

This place is a godsend. Great rooms at super reasonable prices. Their equipment rentals are awesome too and super cheap. I drive up from Monterey, 1 hour each way, Once or twice a week.

Cool spot and their house drums are actually good kits. They have a DW set in one space and a Yamaha stage custom in another. Bring your own cymbals.

We recently moved from Santa Cruz and are really going to miss Paul at SCRS. We have made some amazing memories there. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. Their storage locker rates and rental equipment are affordable. We have left mics and cables behind on accident a few times, and they were always set aside for us. The location is sketch, as there are a lot of homeless loiterers, but that's the county's fault. Be sure to lock your cars. We only had a couple of people ask us for money over a 5-year period, so it's not that bad. As a woman, I felt safe sitting outside alone. The rooms are sound-proof enough and the bathroom is clean. It's a great little spot to rehearse or jam. Check it out!

10/10 jam session location, good prices for rentals and the room comes with a speaker system and amps. They also have everything (sticks, cymbals, pedal, water bottles etc) to buy whenever I forget to bring things.
