OMG! We were driving from Santa Cruz to Aptos and in search of a place to buy a bottle of wine. Grocery store that advertises wine as part of their sign is not kidding. What a gem! Any country any flavor of your choice. If you're looking for a wonderful bottle of wine you'll find it here! We bought two local wines and both were yummy.
Wonderful butcher shop meats but had no way to transport back home. We'll be back!

Shoppers is the best. The butcher, produce and booze selections are phenomenal and prices are fair. All the other stuff is available too I guess. Rarely to never have a line, a cashier and bagger at every register. Never more than a minute or two wait at the butcher, well staffed there too.

You know I don't know why they started cutting the pork chops as thin as paper it happened years ago but I missed when it happened and I do not like them like that this is one reason I like to come to shoppers corner I love to come and get my pork chops there because they are thick enough just the way I like them the people are very courteous and friendly, everyone knows what shoppers corner looks like so I'm sharing a little something of my own, I have over 500 drawings that I have done and they're just sitting here in my apartment I would sell them but with my anxiety and everything I cannot get out there and with the pain that I go through in my body I can't be out in the cold air to put up a stand or something so I want to share them with the world so this is one way that I found I can do it

Best meat in town. Small shop but everything you need and top quality. Super friendly people. Skip Whole Foods and support a local store!

There is absolutely no way that I could possibly give the local grocery store anything less than five stars. But it could improve.

As a kid in the 70’s, my parents did all of their shopping here on a weekly basis. I’ve been an off and on again shopper as I have drifted in and out of Santa Cruz. Now I’m here to stay.

Fast forward to now. The shop is very similar to the old Shoppers Corner but back then the owners were actually at the store. And, they helped us shoppers out to the car and loaded groceries if needed.

It is a great store. I hope it lasts forever. But, it could be better.

They need to stop using heavy plastic bags in the produce area, decrease the heavy paper bags they use, and work to further decrease plastic waste.

I wish that they had a better cheese selection and that the cheeses were not left in plastic wrap so long. I do not worry about using the wrap, but so often the cheese that I buy smells like the store…

Another nit pick. Why can’t you open up an area in your wine and beer area to offer cold white wines that are around $10 ? Please, it’s been years that I’ve avoided this store because of that.

My family’s favorite neighborhood grocery store! We’ve been shopping here for years and always have good service, from butcher’s knowing us and doing custom orders to the cashiers kindness.

Freshest food in town. Their veggies are picked same day.
