This review is NOT for the people who work at this location. They have been very kind and professional.

This review is for their appointment process. The first time I was there, I was able to get that appointment online. When I needed to go back, I spent days looking for that button again and couldn't find it. So I called the number on their website and it took 4 hours and 50 minutes for someone to answer. When I showed up at my appointment, the guy at the window couldn't even find that said appointment even after showing him the text messages stating I scheduled an appointment and telling me how to check in. He still helped me out which was very nice of him.

Why they removed the online process of getting an appointment, who knows? But there's definitely something wrong with their system.

The staff at the Hemet office sucks, do they think they are "GOD"? they sure act like it!! They are RUDE!! and don't want to be bothered, I think they forget without us they would not have a job!!! There is no need to be RUDE and Disrespectful just because you sit behind that desk. Most of us either work or have worked just like you for their money and are entitled to Social Security. So, try putting a smile on your face a be a little nicer it will go a long way!! Trust me nobody wants to be at the Social Security office. Oh, and yes sometimes Social Security is Wrong!!!!

Had a great experience at the Hemet Social Security Office today. Couldn't get an appointment via phone so decided to take my chances on a walk in. Everyone was super pleasant and helpful, from the security staff at the front door, to the amazing assistance with my Social Security question. Special thanks to Ms. Young who took all the time needed to answer my questions and help me. Thank you!!

I needed to change my name, and I couldn't wait so I went in today. I was greeted by the security guard who asked if I had an appointment, I told him no. He told me it would be about 2 hours. I decided to wait, and I was called about an hour and a half later. I highly recommend an appointment. Staff was very friendly.

I have called the 800 number and scheduled an over the phone appointment 3 TIMES every time no one even bothers to call! Then out of the clear blue sky I receive a call that wasn’t expecting from someone at Hemet office. They missed my appointment 3 times then just call when they feel like it with no heads up!!! I’m beyond frustrated with this process for my disabled son. Someone needs to actually do their job over there.

Earlier today, I interacted with a Social Security representative at the Hemet office. I met with her at approximately 3:35pm. She was sitting at window #7. As soon as my mother and I sat down, she began interrogating us about whether or not we had an appointment. I told her that I didn’t and that I was unable to get through to anyone on the (800) number. My mother then asked her, “How are you today”? She replied in a very rude tone, “I’m tired and I want to go home so let’s get on with it”! I was shocked. She was acting like she was doing me a favor by simply speaking to me. After waiting and having to take in her unprofessionalism, her anger and rudeness; I left exactly how I arrived. She didn’t tell me anything other than, “It’s going to take 1 year for you to possibly receive any benefits”. She saw the expression on my face and she said…”Yes, 1 year so you just have to wait”. Going through this process is painful enough and when you go to a government entity, you expect professionalism. I don’t expect the representatives to be nice, but I also don’t expect them to be profoundly rude, ill mannered, and unwilling to help me and others in need of public service. For your records, I was # A143.
On another note, the security officer standing outside was extremely nice, kind and professional.
