Had a small job of cutting some steel hangers for some hanging shelves to place over a door that the container store refused to cut at a short length. So the first metal fabricator I called said it was $250 minimum price but then called Pawl at Steel Werx who very kindly said bring it right over and will do it for $20. He even drilled holes in the hangers to perfectly fit through the bar to anchor a screw I brought to go into the wall stud. Saved me from buying an $80 dollar metal grinder plus my time when he did it in 5 minutes. I appreciate him taking the time and providing his service for such a small job.

If it was possible to give zero stars or even negative stars, I absolutely would! DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING HERE THAT HOLDS ANY SIGNIFICANCE OR VALUE!!! I took my $4000 EUC here to have the axle welded and not only did he charge me OUTRAGEOUS for the 5 year old chicken scratch welding job he did but he did it so bad and welded it so horribly crooked that it ended up completely destroying it and i couldn'tevenput it back together! Something that should have been so simple yet I am sure that he put little to no effort in the job he did and it ended up costing me $4000 plus what I paid him to do it and all i ended up with is a expensive pile of parts that are unusable.

Above and Beyond!!!! Pawl, David, Saeid and the rest of the crew at Steel Werx will do your job well! I had a crazy idea for custom security bars to be installed in our Vanagon as we live in San Francisco and are TIRED of getting broken into. Long story short... I told Pawl "if we could get this project done in the next 2 days that would be amazing..." Pawl simply said "Well....lets be amazing then...". and 2 days later, amazing is an understatement. The Bars are super secure and look great. My wife and I can now sleep secure thanks to the hard work and dedication of David and Pawl.

This guy is awesome! I gave him two wacked up pieces of aluminum piping for a racing project and needed them watertight. His welding skills are top-notch, and those pipes have held up like champs through many hours of racing. Highly recommend his work!
